Ron Wahlen

Ron Wahlen has extensive experience in educational technology, currently serving as the Director of Digital Teaching & Learning Technologies at Durham Public Schools since August 2004. In this role, Ron is responsible for developing and implementing digital technology programs to enhance student learning and teacher effectiveness. Prior positions include Teaching & Learning Technology Manager, Business and Software Portfolio Manager, and Executive Director of Educational Technology, all focused on aligning technology initiatives with educational goals. Ron's earlier experience includes roles as an Adjunct Professor at Shaw University and Wake Technical Community College, as well as Instructional Technology Integration Specialist at Wake County Public Schools. Ron holds an Ed.M. in Education and a B.A. in Social Sciences: Education from the University at Buffalo.
