James Roy Poulter

James Roy Poulter is an Advisory Board Member at Dusk Network. James has also worked as an Investor at Playfair Capital and as an Associate at Ernst & Young.

Poulter began their career in 2009 as an Associate at Ernst & Young. James worked there for three years before moving on to Playfair Capital in 2013. James worked as an Investor there for one year before moving on to Pronto Limited in 2014.

As CEO of Pronto Limited, Poulter raised multiple rounds of finance totaling $2 million. James also built and led a team of 100 employees, increasing revenue by 3x in just four months. The company culture they built was renowned and they brought the company to breakeven economics around the first kitchen at 20% utilisation.

In 2019, Poulter left Pronto Limited to join On Deck. James helped the CEO build community in Europe and ran monthly events. James semi-participated in ODF2 before leaving the company in 2020 to join Dusk Network as an Advisory Board Member.

James Roy Poulter attended ICAS - The Professional Body of CAs to become a Chartered Accountant. James then attended General Assembly for a Web Development Immersive. Finally, they attended The University of Hong Kong for a BA in Philosophy with subsidiaries in Chinese history and culture.
