Al Sumon

Al Sumon has extensive experience in the banking sector, with a focus on SME financing. Al currently holds the position of AVP & Regional Head of SME Division at Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited since August 2022, where they are responsible for sales and marketing of SME products through branch channels, as well as managing the bank's SME asset portfolio and developing the skills of RM, BM, and other officials involved in SME financing.

Prior to their current role, Al Sumon worked at The City Bank Ltd as a Relationship Manager & SEO from June 2016 to August 2022. Al was responsible for developing relationships with clients and implementing search engine optimization strategies.

Before that, Al Sumon was employed at National Housing Finance And Investments Ltd as a Manager from April 2014 to June 2016. Al'sresponsibilities included credit analysis, credit operations, and investment activities related to SME, housing, and lease financing. Al also managed a significant loan portfolio and performed financial analysis.

From May 2010 to April 2014, Al Sumon worked at The City Bank Ltd as an Assistant Relationship Manager & SO. In this role, they focused on market development, acquiring new clients, and conducting visits to potential customers for various loan and deposit products.

Al Sumon began their career at BRAC Bank Limited as a Customer Relations Officer & Officer from January 2008 to April 2010. Al handled credit analysis, loan operations and investments, and maintained relationships with SME clients.

Throughout their career, Al Sumon has gained expertise in sales and marketing of SME products, credit analysis, financial analysis, and customer relationship management in the banking sector. Al has managed significant loan portfolios and has experience in various aspects of SME financing.

Al Sumon's education history begins in 1999 when they enrolled in the University of Dhaka for a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Public Administration. Al completed this degree in 2003. Following this, in the same year, they pursued a Masters of Social Science degree in Public Administration from the University of Dhaka, which was completed in 2004.
