Adriaan van Maurik has extensive experience in the arts and cultural sector, currently serving in Sponsoring & Partnerships at Nationale Opera & Ballet since April 2021, where responsibilities include acquiring new sponsors, managing relationships with existing sponsors, and organizing unique events. Previously, Adriaan worked at Mazars Nederland as a Consultant in Governance, Risk, Compliance & Sustainability, advising a diverse range of organizations and contributing to service development in the cultural sector. Early career roles include positions at Leidse Schouwburg - Stadsgehoorzaal in Public Service and an internship in Marketing & Production at Senf Theaterpartners, alongside a notable role as "Jonge Ciske de Rat" in the musical Ciske de Rat. Adriaan holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in Policy, Communication, and Organization Sciences.
