Altin Kaftira is a versatile creative professional with extensive experience in filmmaking and photography. Currently serving as a Creative Filmmaker & Photographer at the Dutch National Opera & Ballet since May 2009, Altin also founded ArtAlt in January 2005, focusing on artistic video and photography projects tailored to client needs. Previous roles include Video Editor at San Francisco Ballet (January 2020 - June 2020), Freelance Filmmaker at 9024 Media (April 2016 - December 2019), and Videographer at bos theaterproducties (August 2013 - June 2016). Altin's career in the performing arts began as a Principal Dancer at the Dutch National Opera & Ballet (August 1995 - July 2007) and as a Senior Soloist with the English National Ballet (August 1999 - January 2000). Altin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Filmmaking from SAE Institute (2007 - 2011), a Master Pro certificate in Final Cut Studio from CMM (2007 - 2008), and a degree as a Dance Artist from Arts Lyceum (Dance) Jordan Misja (1981 - 1990).
