Carolien van Iersel is an experienced professional in the fields of music and performing arts. Currently serving as Team Leader of Music at CKE since August 2019 and as Production Leader at Factorium since March 2018, Carolien also holds multiple roles with the Dutch National Opera & Ballet, including educator, workshop leader, and soprano in the Chorus, while managing the Opera Forward Festival. As a professional freelancer in music theatre since September 2012, Carolien has also worked as a production staff member with Holland Opera from September 2014 to August 2019. Educationally, Carolien van Iersel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Utrecht University and two degrees from HKU: a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Conservatory.
