James de Vries has extensive experience in the arts and hospitality sectors, having served as a member of the occupational health and safety committee and a member of the works council at Nationale Opera & Ballet since September 2004. In addition to leadership roles, James has held various positions including team leader, receptionist, and caretaker, as well as completing internships in production management and joinery. Briefly contributing to XSAGA in 2018, James produced an event on location, and worked as a waiter at Het Karbeel earlier in their career. James holds a VWO diploma and has attended Hout- en Meubileringscollege, the University of Amsterdam, and De Nieuwe School.
