Dutch National Opera & Ballet
Julie Fuchs is a seasoned professional in architecture and sustainability, currently serving as the Sustainability Projectleader at the Dutch National Opera & Ballet since April 2021. Prior to this role, Julie worked as an Architect at VenhoevenCS architecture+urbanism from January 2016 to March 2021, and at RAU from January 2008 to June 2014, contributing to numerous Dutch and international projects. Notable achievements include significant involvement in the design of the city hall in Lochem and the renovation and extension of the Liander offices in Duiven. Julie holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture, Urbanism, and Landscape from INSA Strasbourg, complemented by a Master's Degree in Architecture with a focus on urban agriculture from Université Laval. Additional professional education in ecological building and renovation has been pursued through Home Eco and Oikos Eco-construction since 2015.
