Maarten Stoops is a seasoned culinary professional with extensive experience in kitchen management and operations. Since October 2014, Maarten has served as the chef-kok horeca manager at Nationale Opera & Ballet, overseeing kitchen and hospitality functions. Prior to this role, Maarten was the Executive Chef at Zussen lobby-restaurant from September 2012 to September 2013, responsible for leading the kitchen team, menu development, staffing, and supplier relations. From September 2007 to September 2013, Maarten also held the position of Chef kok at Broers stadscafé-restaurant, where similar responsibilities were undertaken. Maarten holds a degree in Zelfstandig werkend kok from ROC midden Nederland, completed in 1999.
