Marloes Brans is a highly experienced lawyer specializing in EU and Dutch environmental law, currently serving as Partner and Head of Climate Risk and Sustainability at Houthoff since August 2007. Concurrently, Marloes holds the position of Emeritus Chair of the Environmental Practice Group at Lex Mundi and serves as Regional Vice Chair for the Environmental Practice Group in EMEA, as well as a Board Member of the Vereniging voor Bouwrecht-advocaten. In addition, Marloes is a Board Member at the Nationale Opera & Ballet Fonds and has served as an expert member of the Reflectieraad for environmental planning at VNG. Previous roles include a Deputy Judge at the District Court of Midden-Nederland and Chair of the Objections Committee for the urban district of Amsterdam Zuid. Marloes Brans has also lectured at various national and international events and has a strong academic background with a Master's degree in International and European Law from Radboud University.
