Viola Scholten currently serves as a Business Controller at Nationale Opera & Ballet since October 2022, where responsibilities include managing and analyzing all budgets related to Het Nationale Ballet (HNB). Prior to this role, Viola worked as a Junior Business Controller at PGGM from September 2021 to October 2022, focusing on Power BI reporting, cost price calculations, and data analysis. Viola began a financial training program at Calco in May 2021 and also held the position of Corona Coordinator for Arts and Culture at Gemeente Hoorn from July 2020 to May 2021, managing COVID-19 support projects. During a volunteering role with Vrijwilligerspunt Westfriesland, input was provided on various municipal issues. Early career experience includes an internship in collection management at Kunst.nl. Viola's educational background includes a Master's degree in Art History and a fast-track Bachelor's in Economics from the University of Amsterdam, along with additional studies in accounting and at institutions in Bologna.
