Wibo Vermeulen is a seasoned sound engineer and designer with extensive experience in both live performance and studio environments. Currently serving as a Senior Sound Engineer at Nationale Opera & Ballet since 2016, Wibo also undertakes freelance roles, including Associate Sound Designer for "Mamma Mia!" across multiple international venues. Previous positions include Sound Consultant for Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest, Freelance Sound Designer for ISO Audio and Da Capo Orchestral Audio, and various audio engineering roles at renowned venues such as de Doelen. Wibo Vermeulen holds a bachelor's degree in Art of Sound from the Koninklijk Conservatorium and has been active in the industry since 2002, demonstrating a commitment to high-quality sound design and engineering across diverse productions.
