Maurits van den Hurk is a mechanical engineer currently serving as a Board Member of the Young Precision Network at the Dutch Society for Precision Engineering, where responsibilities include organizing events to connect young professionals with the industry. With experience at VDL Enabling Technologies Group since March 2020 and previously as a graduate student at TEGEMA, Maurits developed a fast heating and cooling process module for electronic assembly applications. Leadership experience includes serving as Chairman of the Study Association Taylor at TU Delft, overseeing operations for a master association with 250 members. Additionally, time spent as a full-time engineer with the Formula Student Team Delft involved significant contributions to the design and production of a high-tech race car, achieving notable competition results in Barcelona and Germany. Maurits holds a Master of Science in High-tech Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
