Laura Bryson, MPH, currently serves as a Consultant and Senior Management Analyst at Duty First Consulting, where responsibilities include supporting the CMS Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight in implementing the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and managing communications with state departments of insurance. Bryson has previous experience as a Graduate Hall Advisor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and as a Health Communications Graduate Intern at Forge Communications, where contributions included conflict mediation and developing health communication strategies. Additional internships at New Hanover Regional Medical Center and SEEDS of Healing, Inc. provided further experience in public health education and project management. Bryson holds a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
