Katrina Taylor

Katrina Taylor has a diverse work experience in the field of mental health and education. Katrina began their career in 2003 as a Certified Case Manager at Mental Health Resource Center, where they facilitated services for children with mental, emotional, and behavioral impairments. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Parent Educator at Exchange Club Family Center, implementing parent education curriculum and collaborating with other agencies. Katrina then worked as a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern at River Region Human Services from 2013 to 2014, providing counseling and treatment planning for adult substance abuse clients. Katrina then joined Wekiva Springs Center in 2014 as a Clinical Evaluator. In 2015, Katrina became a Contract Therapist at Daniel Memorial, Inc. and provided therapy services. Katrina also worked at Duval County Public Schools, starting as a School Counselor in 2005 and eventually becoming the Director of School Behavioral Health in 2016. In their roles at the school district, they provided counseling, guidance, and support services to students and collaborated with district schools on behavior and mental health systems. Katrina Taylor graduated from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology. Katrina then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services at Webster University, which they completed in 2005. Later, in 2014, they obtained a Specialist Concentration in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from Webster University as well.
