Espen Seidel is a PhD Candidate at Handelshøyskolen BI, collaborating with Duvi AS on an industrial PhD, while serving as the Chief Investment Officer responsible for investment portfolios at Duvi AS since October 2018. With previous experience as Group CEO and Portfolio Manager at Finansco, Espen has managed strategic development and global investment mandates, and has held various roles including Portfolio Manager at OX Norge AS and Sector Asset Management. Espen's early career began with trading roles at American Electric Power and Enron, supported by a Master's degree in Applied Economics from Griffith University and a Cand Mag in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Oslo. Recently, Espen completed a visiting researcher position at the University of California, Berkeley, under finance professor Terry Odean.
