Sammy Yau

Sammy Yau is currently serving as a Unibuddy Ambassador at Edith Cowan University since July 2023, where responsibilities include engaging with prospective international students via the Unibuddy chat platform and creating online content to enhance the university experience. Concurrently, Sammy has worked as a Food and Beverage Attendant at Duxton Hotel Perth since August 2022, focusing on customer service and operational support in the dining area. In addition, Sammy completed a Human Resources Internship at the Multicultural Communities Council of WA from July to September 2023, where efforts were directed towards designing onboarding and training materials that promote inclusivity and diversity. Prior to these roles, Sammy held the position of Executive of Global Education Initiatives at World Sky International Group from January 2008 to June 2022, where the focus was on academic pathway programs and IT solutions for collaboration. Sammy Yau holds a Master of International Hospitality from Edith Cowan University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
