Danielle Verbrugge

Danielle Verbrugge has had a diverse range of work experiences. Danielle is currently a member of the Board of Directors and the Board Treasurer at Cousteau, l'école française internationale de Vancouver. Danielle also holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at DV Chain.

In 2016, Danielle became the Principal at Nordan Accounting Services Inc. Prior to that, they worked at Independent Trading Group (ITG), Inc. from 2017 to 2021, where they held the roles of Senior Vice President - Financial Accounts and Control and Controller.

Before joining ITG, Danielle worked at FortisBC from 2009 to 2016. During their time there, they held positions such as Manager of Finance, Co-Program Manager of the SOX transition compliance project team, Manager of Financial & Regulatory Reporting, and Financial Reporting Manager.

Danielle's earlier work experience includes serving as an Assistant Controller at Great Panther Resources in 2008 and working as a Senior at Deloitte Canada from 2004 to 2008.

Danielle Verbrugge completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Co-op at The University of British Columbia from 2002 to 2006. Danielle then pursued a Chartered Accountant degree at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia. Danielle Verbrugge also obtained additional certifications including the Partners, Directors and Senior Officers Course (PDO) from the Canadian Securities Institute in 2018 and the Chief Financial Officer Qualifying Examination (CFO) in 2017.
