Basim Arain

Basim Arain has a diverse work experience starting from 2016. Basim began their career with J.P. Morgan's A-Level Schools Summer Programme. In 2017, they worked as a Summer Intern at Heartwood Investment Management and later became the President of SOFAB (Society of Finance, Accounting & Business) from 2017 to 2019. In 2018, Basim completed various internships, including roles as a Spring Intern at Schroders, M&G Investments, and Macquarie Group. Basim also worked as a Consultant at Manchester Business Advisory during this time. In 2019, Basim worked as a Sales & Trading Summer Analyst at Citi. Most recently, they have joined DV Trading LLC as a Junior Trader starting in 2022.

Basim Arain completed their education in a chronological order. Basim pursued a Master of Science degree in Statistics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from The University of Manchester between 2016 and 2019. Basim's educational journey began at Sale Grammar School, where they completed their A levels in Mathematics, Economics, and Chemistry from 2014 to 2016.
