Xiner (Sara) Ning

Xiner (Sara) Ning has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Their most recent role is as a Data Analyst II at dv01, starting in August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Fannie Mae as a Multifamily Allowance and Forecast - Data Analyst, Corporate Finance Risk Management - Data Analyst, and Capital Market Pricing - AMTM Quality Assurance. In these positions, they analyzed loan activities, provided data points for financial reporting, identified data-associated risks, and conducted UAT and data analysis.

Before joining Fannie Mae, Xiner worked as a Data Visualization Intern at The QED Group, where they organized data visualization challenges, analyzed website traffic, and managed a data repository. Xiner (Sara) also served as a Teaching Assistant at Georgetown University and a Data Science Intern at Bixal, where they provided data quality assessment, developed Tableau dashboards, and built ARIMA time-series models. Additionally, they worked as a Student Ambassador at Georgetown University Graduate School of Art & Science, where they recruited students and implemented standard operating procedures for data management.

Xiner's experience also includes working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, College Park, where they developed an R package, implemented technical reports, and conducted R&D on statistical techniques. Xiner (Sara) also worked as a Student Assistant at UMD McKeldin Library, providing customer service and collaborating with other library departments. Xiner's earliest work experience was a summer internship at GP Certified Public Accountants, where they analyzed business health, supported tax audits, and participated in client meetings.

Xiner (Sara) Ning completed their education with a Master of Science in Analytics (Data Science) from Georgetown University, graduating in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Maryland in 2018. Xiner (Sara) began their undergraduate education at The George Washington University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics in 2016. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including being a Tableau Analyst and Tableau Data Scientist from Tableau Software in May 2020, and an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2021.
