Zhiyong Yan has a diverse work experience. Zhiyong is currently employed at dv01 as a Quantitative Engineer, where they are responsible for maintaining and adding features to a securitization cashflow engine, conducting research on new securitization structures, and creating internal micro-services and applications. Prior to this, they worked at BBVA as a Quantitative Risk Analyst, where they worked on a CVA project and monitored risks of trading activities. Zhiyong has also worked on various projects during their time at the University of Connecticut, including a C# project and VBA projects. Additionally, they gained experience in volatility estimation and options trading as part of their capstone project at ECHO BAY. Before that, they served as an ABS Analysis Intern at iFRE Company, where they gathered and analyzed ABS-Prospectus documents. Zhiyong also worked as an Internship Leader at the Journal of Japanese Language Study and Research, where they proofread academic journals and managed inventory. At hejun consulting group, they worked as a Consulting Intern and contributed to the publication of a book.
Zhiyong Yan, FRM, completed their Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of International Business and Economics between the years 2012 and 2016. Zhiyong then pursued a Master's Degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Connecticut-Stamford from 2016 to 2018.
In addition to their formal education, Zhiyong Yan has obtained several certifications and completed various courses to further enhance their skills and knowledge.
