Prior to that, they held the position of National Head - Rural Insurance & Co-operative Banks at Bharti AXA General Insurance Company Limited from October 2007 to September 2010. Murty played a key role in setting up and expanding the rural insurance and co-operative bank verticals nationally.
L V L N'searlier experiences include working as a Business Development Manager at ITC Limited IBD from 2003 to 2007 and as a Branch Manager at Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Limited from 1995 to 2002.

L V L N Murty completed an Advanced Management Program from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in 2012. L V L N obtained an MBA degree with a focus on Marketing from the College of Commerce, Kolhapur from 1991 to 1993. Prior to that, they completed their 12th standard in science from Kendriya Vidyalaya in 1986 to 1988.
