Smita Dam

Smita Dam has been working in the finance industry since 2009. Smita started their career as a Credit Manager at Ujjivan Financial Services Pvt Ltd. During their time there, they were responsible for adhering to credit policies, maintaining the quality of approvals, achieving targets, and preparing and maintaining MIS reports. In 2014, they joined Jana Small Finance Bank as an Associate Vice President. In 2020, they moved to Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd as an Associate Vice President, where they managed and drove the business loan vertical, implemented projects and initiatives, and improved the process. Currently, they are the Head of Operations at Dvara SmartGold, a position they have held since 2022.

Smita Dam completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the SDM Institute of Management Development in 2009, majoring in Finance and Financial Management Services. Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Commerce (M.Com) from the University of Calcutta in 2005, majoring in Accountancy & Commerce. Smita also earned their Bachelor's degree from the University of Calcutta in 2003, majoring in International Business/Trade/Commerce. In addition, they obtained a Training of Trainers (TOT) certification from Kolkata in December 2012, and a UNITUS - Daksh Management Development Program certification from NIS Sparta in September 2010.
