John Oas

John Oas is an ORISE Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Naval Medical Research Unit Dayton (NAMRU-D), where they engage in advanced vestibular research and collaboration with cognitive neuroscientists and engineers. They have dedicated their medical practice to Otoneurology since 1990, teaching at institutions such as Harvard Medical School and The Ohio State University. Previously, John held roles including Director of the Program of Vestibular & Balance Disorders at Cleveland Clinic and Medical Director at Vestibular Diagnostics, LLC. Their educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from The University of Texas Medical Branch and a fellowship in Neurotology at UCLA. Through their work, John aims to advance translational vestibular research critical to military aviation and clinical practice.
