David Simmons

David Simmons has extensive experience in various roles related to technology and security. Currently, David serves in AppSec Observability Enablement at DeepFactor, focusing on identifying security risks in applications within the DevOps pipeline. Concurrently, David works at Cass Information Systems to enhance freight audit and payment processes, while also contributing as a Cloud Security Specialist at Lightspin, where advanced technology is utilized to detect and address security risks. In addition, David holds a position as an Account Development Representative at DWCC, working on global outreach for technological solutions. Prior roles include food service at Chuck Lagers American Tavern, where David delivered exceptional customer service. Educationally, David earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Campbellsville University and has an Associate's degree from Middle Tennessee State University along with an Associate of Arts from Tallahassee State College.
