Fred Geck

Fred Geck is a Principal Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in various industries. Fred currently holds the role of Principal Mechanical Engineer/Operations at Dwellwell Analytics, Inc., where they are involved in transforming residential property maintenance through AI and sensor technology. Prior to this, Fred served as a Principal Mechanical Engineer/Manager Sensor Qualification at CEVA, Inc., conducting strategic product research in areas such as robotics, biometrics, and IoT. Before CEVA, they held the same position at InterDigital, Inc., focusing on managing MEMS sensor qualification testing. Fred also worked as a Mechanical Design Consultant for special projects, providing creative design solutions. Fred's experience also includes roles as a Principal Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager at M-Edge Accessories, where they focused on mechanical and industrial design for consumer electronics, and as a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Hillcrest Laboratories, Inc., specializing in packaging for handheld consumer electronics products. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Mechanical Engineer at sentitO Networks, Inc., overseeing the design and execution of telecomm rack mount systems. Fred started their career at Tellabs Operations, Inc. and SALIX Technologies, where they served as a Lead Mechanical Engineer. Fred Geck completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1985. Fred then pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, which they obtained in 1986. In 2017, Fred completed an Executive Certificate in Managing Complex Technical Projects from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
