Colin Noonan

Colin Noonan is a Mechanical Engineer at DWFritz Automation since December 2020, specializing in mechanical and systems machine lead roles, notably enhancing a rotor and stator metrology tool through innovative modifications. Prior experience includes serving as a Mechanical Technician, collaborating on a 24/7 automated machine for silicon-lithium battery production, and creating tooling components in SOLIDWORKS to optimize calibration processes. Colin completed a Project Engineering Internship at Howard S. Wright, gaining insights into project management practices during the renovation of Kaiser Permanente Hospital. An undergraduate researcher at the University of Maine, Colin contributed to a published scientific paper on cellulose nanofibrils and ionic polymer-metal composites, aiming for performance advancements in sensors and actuators.
