Yara Rizk

Yara Rizk is a skilled professional with extensive experience in the fields of artificial intelligence and computer engineering. Currently serving as a Manager and Research Staff Member at IBM since April 2019, Yara has previously held roles as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Computing & Data Sciences at Boston University and as a Research Associate at the American University of Beirut. Yara's academic contributions include teaching and assisting various courses related to computer engineering, while also engaging in research projects on humanitarian computing, seismic data analysis, and sentiment analysis. Yara holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Communication Engineering, both from the American University of Beirut. Additional experience includes internships at Intel Corporation and the Technological University of Kaiserslautern.
