Rachael Sholes

Rachael Sholes has over 15 years of work experience in risk management and underwriting. Rachael is currently the Director of Risk Management at Dwolla since August 2022. Prior to that, they held positions such as Director of Risk at Exact Payments LLC from August 2021 to August 2022 and Director of Risk and Underwriting at Paragon Payment Solutions from September 2020 to August 2021. Before that, they worked at Carvana as the Verification Advocate Team Lead from January 2019 to September 2020. Rachael also served as a Risk Team Leader at Nuvei from June 2017 to January 2019. Rachael's early career includes roles at PayPal, where they worked as a Risk Operations Senior Agent from January 2013 to June 2017, a Seller Risk Operations Agent from June 2011 to June 2017, a Customer Solutions Senior Agent from January 2009 to June 2011, and a Customer Service Appeals Agent from April 2006 to January 2009.

Rachael Sholes completed an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Criminal Justice at ITT Technical Institute-Omaha in 2008. Rachael then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Investigations at Bellevue University from 2009 to 2010.
