Adrian Johnson

Adrian Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Adrian began their career at Carillion in 1984 as an Area Managing Surveyor, where they were responsible for procurement and cost management of various construction projects. In this role, they worked on projects such as office blocks, supermarket shells, and the refurbishment of St Davids Shopping Centre in Cardiff. Adrian also oversaw the construction of a retail and leisure site at Atlantic Wharf in Cardiff and worked on hotel new builds and refurbishments. Adrian worked at Carillion until 1998.

After Carillion, Adrian joined Somerfield Stores Ltd in 2006 as the Head of Cost and Design Management. Adrian oversaw cost management and design coordination for the company's projects until 2010.

From 2010 to 2013, Adrian worked at Welsh Health Estates as a Framework Manager.

Adrian then joined Cardiff & Vale University Health Board in 2013 as the Head of Strategic Capital, where they held the position until 2014.

Finally, Adrian joined Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water in 2015 and worked as the Capital Procurement Manager until 2017. Adrian was then promoted to the role of Head of Capital Procurement, a position they currently hold.

Adrian Johnson attended the University of South Wales from 1980 to 1984, where they obtained a BSc degree in Quantity Surveying.
