Martin Driscoll began their work experience at British Steel in 1990, where they held several management roles until 1998. Martin then moved on to Corus, where they served as the HR Director for Colors from 1998 to 2001, and as the HR Director for Packaging Plus from 2001 to 2005.
Afterwards, they joined Tata Steel as the HR Director for Long Products from 2005 to 2012, overseeing 10,000 employees across various sites in the UK, France, and the Netherlands. Martin then became the HR Director for Strip UK at Tata Steel from 2012 to 2017, responsible for 7,000 employees.
Martin Driscoll temporarily left Tata Steel in 2016 to become the Executive Director of HR at Excalibur Steel, leading the financing of the employee and management buyout of TATA Steel UK.
Martin'smost recent roles include being the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Workforce at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board from 2017 to 2021, and currently, they are working as the Director of People and Workforce at Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water since March 2021.
Martin Driscoll attended the University of Birmingham from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a degree in Geography. Subsequently, from 1995 to 1998, they enrolled at The Open University and completed a Certificate and Diploma in Management Studies.
