Christopher Chung

Christopher Chung has over two decades of extensive experience in finance and asset management. Currently serving as Fund CFO at DWS Group since April 2018, previous roles include Fund Deputy CFO and Senior Financial Controller focusing on alternatives and real estate asset management. Prior to DWS Group, Christopher worked at Alter Domus in corporate and fund services, and as Head of Finance & Operations at Heritage Trust Group, collaborating closely with the CEO on strategic planning. Christopher also has a strong background in product control and corporate management from positions at Standard Chartered Bank and Westpac. Earlier experience includes finance and consulting roles at Challenger Financial Services Group, Ernst & Young, Arthur Andersen, and BDO Kendalls. Christopher holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and Accounting from Western Sydney University and is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia. Additionally, Christopher is pursuing further education at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
