Regulatory Lead at Dxcover

Rachael Cameron has worked in various roles since 2007. Rachael began their career as a Technician at the Medical Research Council in 2007. In 2008, they took on the role of Research Technician at the University of Glasgow, where they were responsible for molecular biology of Plasmodium Berghei and the creation of new tools to investigate a transmission blocking vaccine. In 2014, they began a four-year integrated studies PhD program at the University of Edinburgh, focusing on Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopic assessment of anti-cancer drug-nanoparticle conjugates in non-small cell lung cancer. In 2017, they joined Clintec as a Records Management Lead, where they were the head of function and line managed the Records Management team. Rachael also gained experience on sponsor, 3rd party and CRO systems, and implemented and decommissioned eTMF platforms. In 2020, they joined Dxcover as a Quality Lead.

Rachael Cameron has an extensive educational background. From 2014 to 2018, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) joint studies with the University of Strathclyde in Chemistry, Cancer, and Bionanotechnology. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science from Edinburgh Napier University between 2002 and 2006. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including ISO 13485 Lead Auditor from QCS International in May 2021, Being a Leader- First Line Management from Chartered Management Institute in December 2019, Edinburgh Clinical Trial Management Course from the Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility, University of Edinburgh in December 2016, and ICH-GCP from Whitehall Training accredited by The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians UK in September 2015.
