Ludovico Giammarino

Ludovico Giammarino has extensive work experience in the field of software development, specializing in iOS and MacOSX development. Ludovico started their career in 1998 as a Web Administrator and Perl Programmer at Soprintendenza dei Beni Culturali di Pisa, where they created a search engine for an SQL database accessible through a web form. Ludovico then worked as a Grid R&D researcher at ElsagDatamat, where they were involved in two Framework 6 IST Grid Projects for the European Commission. At CASPUR, Ludovico worked as a System Programmer, actively involved in several small development projects for interoperability between different networked architectural systems. Following that, Ludovico joined Evidence S.r.l as a Software Engineer, working on embedded C development and managing a project for an embedded parking sensor. At Navionics, Ludovico served in multiple roles, including iOS Developer, iOS Team/Technical Leader, and Software Architect and Technical Leader for the iOS software development teams. Ludovico worked on applications with heavy 2D graphics requirements and complex UI workflows. Ludovico also worked at DxO as a Seniore MacOSX Developer. Most recently, Ludovico has been self-employed as a Senior iOS Consultant and Developer.

Ludovico Giammarino started their education at the European School of Varese, Italy - French Section in 1982, where they completed their Baccalauréat degree. Ludovico then pursued further studies at the Università di Pisa, specializing in Computer Science, and obtained their Master of Science degree in that field in 2004.
