Curt Tueffert has a diverse and extensive work experience. Curt began their career in 1994 as a Product Manager at Microware Distributors. From 1995 to 1996, they worked as an Account Manager at Dickesn Data Systems and as a VP Sales at Unilearn. In 1996, they joined JBS as a VP Sales, a role they held until 2000. Curt then served as VP Sales at Microware from 1998 to 2001 and as a National Sales Manager at DCSS from 2001 to 2002. In 2005, they joined DXP Enterprises, where they became the VP Sales Development, responsible for developing the sales talent and creating sales processes. In 2007, they worked as a Manager at SendOutCards until 2009. In 2014, they started their role as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston, teaching sales and business communication classes. Alongside their professional career, Curt Tueffert is also the President of Brick Wall Motivation and an author of a book.

Curt Tueffert attended the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business from 2001 to 2007. Curt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication and Computer Science from California State University, Northridge from 1981 to 1984. Prior to that, they attended Crescenta Valley High School from 1974 to 1976. In addition to their education, Curt Tueffert obtained certifications as a Certified Trainer from The Brooks Group in 2023 and as a Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst from Target Training International, Ltd. in both 2001 and 2000.
