Iain MacDonald is a skilled Interaction Designer and UX Researcher with extensive experience in various sectors, currently working at dxw since December 2022 and at Haver Design Collective from October 2020. Previous roles include Interaction Designer at Atos, focusing on service transformation within HMRC, and at Methods, contributing to government and public service projects. Iain has also worked with Edify.ac as a UI/Web Designer, enhancing an innovative VR learning platform, and served as a UX Designer and Researcher for Protect Our Winters UK, improving user journeys for sustainable initiatives. Notable freelance experience includes founding Handprint Web Design, delivering travel-related web solutions, and a significant tenure at HarperCollins Publishers as a Cartographic Editor and Senior Information Editor. Iain holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Geographic Information Science and Cartography and a Professional Certificate in Content Design from recognized institutions.
