Jason Cannavale

Jason Cannavale is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and operations. As CTO at Dyania Health from April 2024 to March 2025, Jason led the development of an AI platform for automating medical chart reviews. Previously, Jason served as SVP of Engineering, successfully expanding a TechOps team from 12 to 80 members, overseeing core engineering platforms and cybersecurity services. At Flatiron Health, Jason held the position of Software Engineering VP, TechOps, managing a substantial budget while facilitating the migration of electronic medical records to AWS. Jason's career at Rackspace included roles as Senior Director of Engineering and Director of Software Development, where contributions to OpenStack Private Cloud products and team expansion were notable. Earlier, as an Operations Research Analyst at the US Army TRADOC Analysis Center, Jason earned a Distinguished Civil Service award. Jason holds a Master's degree in Information and Cyber Security from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from New Mexico State University.
