Joshua Watts

Joshua Watts is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in governance, law, and research. Currently serving as Governance Lead at dYdX Foundation since November 2021, Joshua previously held positions at Proskauer Rose LLP as Law Clerk and Summer Associate, and at O'Leary Ventures as a Venture Capital Associate. Early legal advocacy experience includes work at the Community Legal Assistance Society and research roles at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health as well as the University of Winnipeg, focusing on social issues and program evaluation. Joshua holds an MBA from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, a JD from the University of Toronto, and an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from The University of Winnipeg, complemented by an international exchange program in law at the University of Amsterdam.
