Sara Riley

Sara Riley, MBA, CPA, is an experienced taxation and estates paralegal at Dykema since February 2021, specializing in the preparation of estate and income tax returns for high net worth clients. Prior to this role, Sara served as a Senior Tax Accountant at Miller, Cooper & Co., Ltd. and Shepard Schwartz & Harris LLP, where responsibilities included reviewing and preparing complex tax returns and conducting tax planning analyses. Sara's early career included positions as a Supervisor and Senior Associate at Martin Hood, where tax and accounting principles were extensively applied, and as a Staff Accountant at Mize Houser & Company P.A., managing audits for government and nonprofit organizations. Educational qualifications consist of an MBA in Finance and Accounting from The University of Kansas and a BA in Chemistry and Math from Monmouth College.
