J. Patrick McAvoy

As the Chief Innovation Officer of Dynamic Campus, Patrick McAvoy researches and applies trends, approaches, and best practices inside and outside of higher education to maximize the innovative capabilities of Dynamic Campus and its partner institutions.

Patrick has spent the last six years focused on the rapidly changing needs of higher education, ensuring Dynamic Campus's strategic, consulting, and tactical support capabilities are continually aligned with the needs of institutional leadership today.

He relies on more than two decades of experience supporting and advising technology-driven companies in a variety of industries, including software development, cloud computing, IT support services, retail, healthcare, semiconductors, supply chain, distribution, and more.

Patrick’s leadership experience includes starting, managing, and running several successful technology marketing agencies, as well as leading global teams for a Fortune 100 technology distributor and Brodeur Worldwide, a technology-focused division of Omnicom Group.

Patrick earned a Bachelor of Science in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the University of Arizona.
