Duke Gates has worked in various roles since 1990. duke began their career in the US Navy as a CAPES Manager. In 2006, they joined Serco-NA as an Operations Finance/Project Lead. In 2014, they moved to Serco as an Operations Supervisor/Manager. Since 2019, they have been working as a Business Development at Dynamic Systems Technology, Inc. (DysTech).

Duke Gates attained an Associate's degree from the University of Phoenix.
