Karen Sotak

Karen Sotak is the regional director at Dynamic Workforce Solutions. Karen has over 19 years of experience in workforce development and training. Karen began their career as a project director at Arbor Education and Training in April 2000. In this role, they were responsible for the fiscal management of a workforce contract that funded in-school and out-of-school youth programs. Karen successfully led a team of 20-35 employees to exceed the performance standards set by the Workforce Board and the State. Karen achieved high performance throughout their nine-year tenure at Arbor Education and Training.

In 2009, Karen transitioned to their current role as regional director at Dynamic Workforce Solutions. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing programs with the workforce development and training center, funding agencies, training providers, and community partners. Karen also determines if programs align with the mission and vision of Workforce Solutions Treasure Coast. In addition, Karen is responsible for developing relationships with workforce development agency and community-based organization partners. Karen also manages and conducts analysis of workforce activities to evaluate compliance with policies and procedures and adherence to contract requirements.

Karen has demonstrated their ability to effectively communicate with management and staff throughout their career. Karen is also skilled in developing program-specific training based on input from staff and as needed. Karen is passionate about their work and is committed to helping others reach their full potential.

Karen Sotak has an associate's degree in business administration and management from Indian River State College. Karen also has a bachelor's degree in business administration, management, and operations from the University of Texas in Tyler.
