Yanir Avner

Yanir Avner is an accomplished software engineering manager currently leading the Messaging engine backend team at Dynamic Yield by Mastercard since September 2017. Yanir's extensive experience includes roles as a Big Data Developer at Dynamic Yield, focusing on batch and stream processing pipelines, and as an IoT Software Engineer at AGT International, where Yanir contributed to the development of new IoT products. Prior positions also include Head of Mobile at Meerkat, VP Mobile and Director of Mobile Development at Dragonplay, and a range of development roles at various companies including mPortico, Iplay, CMate, and EYE-Cell. Yanir's expertise spans technologies such as Java, Scala, Spark, and AWS, complemented by a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University.
