Lauren Fanette

Lauren Fanette is the current Accounting Manager at Dynamo Specialty Distributing. Prior to their current position, Lauren was a Senior Accountant at Planet Fitness Houston from September 2015 to August 2020. In this role, Lauren was responsible for collaborating with the Operations, Purchasing, and Marketing teams to analyze business trends and derive insights to inform decisions. Lauren also provided financial analysis, business modeling, and decision support to senior executives, and processed payroll and tracked benefit eligibility for over 250 employees.

Before their time at Planet Fitness Houston, Lauren was an Experienced Assurance Associate at BDO USA, LLP from September 2014 to September 2015. In this role, Lauren was responsible for providing monthly and quarterly reporting, focusing on performance metrics and P&L variances to budget. Lauren also supported the budget process for corporate office and all operating locations, and performed monthly close processes including adjusting revenue entries, depreciation entries, and bank reconciliations.

Lauren has a track record of implementing efficient accounting processes and systems in their roles. At Planet Fitness Houston, they implemented PowerBI to better measure and manage operating performance. Lauren also migrated daily revenue entries from manual to automated through the implementation of GetLinked, resulting in more efficient accounting.
