Derek Marvin

Derek Marvin is an experienced engineer with a strong background in testing and applications engineering, currently serving as a Senior Test Engineer at Dynapower Company, LLC since January 2012, where responsibilities include full testing of air-cooled inverter systems and the design of custom test systems. Previously, Derek held roles at IBM, including Senior Applications Engineer, Equipment Engineering Technician Specialist, and ASIC Tech Lab Specialist, focusing on areas such as inductive systems design, preventative maintenance, and complex CMOS circuitry. Derek holds a Master’s degree in Energy Systems Engineering from University College Dublin and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont.
