James Tompkins

James Tompkins has a diverse work history beginning in 2012 when they were a Technical Lead Contractor for Allen ISD, where they collaborated with facility staff on projects related to facility maintenance, advertising, and productions with budgets exceeding $30,000. James also performed technical troubleshooting on fixtures and systems to ensure operational success, advised clients and subcontractors on best practices for safety and efficiency within the venue, and operated audiovisual and lighting systems. In 2015, they began working as a Logic Tutor and Grader for the University of Houston, where they graded tests and input grades for 150+ philosophy students per semester, tutored students in the subjects of propositional and predicate logic, and maintained relations with multiple professors within the department. In 2018, they joined Group 1 Automotive as a Service Consultant, where they operated as the first-line of customer contact for vehicle servicing needs, educated customers, and liaised with customers, managers, mechanics, administrators, and support personnel to ensure an above satisfactory experience for all involved. In 2019, they began working for Dynatron Software, Inc. as a Platinum Team Lead and Warranty Submission Analyst.

James Tompkins received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Political Science and Government from the University of Houston between 2014 and 2018.
