Alfredo Ramirez

Alfredo Ramirez has a strong background in SEC reporting, technical accounting, and SOX compliance. Alfredo has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. Currently, they serve as the Head of SEC Reporting, Technical Accounting, and SOX at Dynavax Technologies where they ensure the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance in public financial statements and disclosures. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting at Stem, Inc., a global leader in AI-driven clean energy storage systems. Alfredo has also worked at Electronic Arts (EA) and Glu Mobile, where they were responsible for external reporting processes and resolving technical accounting matters. Alfredo has experience in financial accounting advisory services from their time at EY and has worked as a Technical Accounting Consultant at PwC in both the UK and globally. Alfredo began their career as a Financial Auditor at PwC Venezuela, where they gained expertise in audit under various accounting frameworks.

Alfredo Ramirez has a Bachelor's degree in accountancy from UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, which they obtained from 1996 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's in Science from Colegio La Salle T.H. between 1985 and 1996. In addition, they have obtained a CPA certification from the California Board of Accountancy in 2019.
