Emily Tran

Emily Tran, PMP, is a seasoned finance and project management professional with extensive experience in system implementation and process improvements. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Finance Systems at Dynavax Technologies since September 2022, Emily leads project planning and execution, including the implementation of new cybersecurity policies. Prior roles include Sr. Finance Program Manager at Varian Medical Systems, where Emily integrated SAP Concur with banking systems across regions, and at Veritas Technologies LLC, where project management focused on new Revenue Recognition standards. Emily's career began at Cisco, contributing to global business process transformation and managing significant IT project budgets, alongside earlier experience as a Business Systems Analyst at Hitachi Data Systems. Currently pursuing an MBA at the Jack Welch Management Institute, Emily holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix.
