Maureen Urban

Maureen Urban has extensive work experience in the field of process development and manufacturing sciences. Maureen has been with Dynavax Technologies since 2004, where they have held various roles, including Executive Director, Senior Director, Director, and Associate Director. Prior to joining Dynavax Technologies, Maureen worked as a Scientist on a contract basis at Bio-Rad Laboratories.

Maureen Urban holds a Ph.D. in Molecular & Cell Biology (Neurobiology, Biophysics) from the University of California, Berkeley, which they earned from 1996 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1991 to 1995.
