Oliver Medzihradsky

Oliver Medzihradsky has extensive work experience in the medical and clinical research field. Oliver is currently serving as the Senior Medical Director of Clinical Development at Dynavax Technologies since September 2022. Prior to this, Oliver worked as a Clinical Research Consultant (MD) between June 2022 and August 2022. From December 2019 to May 2022, they held the position of Senior Director, Clinical Development at Meissa Vaccines. Before that, Oliver worked as the Director of Clinical Research at Gilead Sciences from August 2017 to December 2019. Oliver also served as a Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellow and Malaria Elimination Research Fellow at UCSF from July 2014 to July 2017. Oliver was an Assistant Clinical Professor, Division of Hospital Medicine at UCSF from 2011 to 2014 and a Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellow at UC San Diego Health in 2010. Additionally, Oliver worked as a Clinical Adjunct Instructor at the University of Nevada Reno from 2006 to 2010 and as a Resident in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2002 to 2005.

Oliver Medzihradsky holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Dartmouth College, which they earned from 1989 to 1993. Oliver then pursued a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, completing their studies from 1993 to 1999. In 1997, they also obtained a Master's Degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Rochester. Later, from 2000 to 2002, they attended the University of Michigan and obtained a Master's Degree in Epidemiology. Before their collegiate education, Oliver attended Pioneer High School, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
